I swapped wheels from another same year Tahoe, can I learn onboard?

I have a 2016 Tahoe LTZ. It originally came with 22"'s.

I found an OEM wheel/tire combo package from a 2016 Tahoe, on 18"s.

Just swapped them on today. I thought they were reading, but no.

Probably good to go. But, you could do the tire pressure/tire location procedure - not sure on that year off the top of my head, but that may help confirm it's all good.

I found a list of "Do This" on the internet.

I tried the over 50mph for 10 minutes. That didn't do it.

Next on the list involved a reset tool. Everything I read seemed to imply going to the dealer, or a tire shop. So, I bought "a" tool. VXDAS EL-50448 from Amazon.

No link, I'm not an affiliate. Under ten bux with shipping. 90 seconds later, all done.

You swapped 22" wheels for 18" OEM wheels on your 2016 Tahoe LTZ, but the vehicle isn't recognizing them, likely due to TPMS sensor issues. The 18" wheels may need functional TPMS sensors or a relearn procedure to sync with your vehicle. You can try performing a TPMS relearn or visit a dealership/tire shop to reprogram or replace the sensors.
