Everyone was swearing by DDM on my other thread when I asked what would be best, but I will definitely not be purchasing from them.

Hope everything works out for you

That's because DDM used to be decent quality kits. Their quality control has tanked lately, though, big time. I have a kit on a car I sold before I got my Denali that still work (sold the car to a friend, so I still see it). They are in their 7th or 8th year now with no problems. Now it seems like you're lucky if you get a kit and both sides work, which is just not acceptable.

Couple that with shipping direct from China, crushed packages that can sometimes get "lost" along the way and take weeks to get to you...it's really not worth saving a few bucks on the risk that they might work.

I used to be a big fan of DDM and referred a lot of people to them. I don't anymore.

Okay so the reason for my hids not firing is possibly because my light switch is messed up.. It's at the shop now since the low drivers side wire is all f'd up now

**EDIT**
May I also add over the summer i bout a CHEAP pair of xentecs ebay hids to hold me till the next summer until i did my retro..well they were complete garbage and lasted 2 months.... anyways if you compare DDM and xentec i swear there was nothing different between the two kits beside the fact DDM doesn't supply double sided sticky pad.. (The raptor kit 35w)

This is very true, with any product. Be it a $30 buck kit or a $300 kit. Stuff may not work with either one. Im thinking bad batch, but with all the reviews all over the net, more negative than positive, and his catching on fire, and doing the same as me, as well as other issues ive had w/ them and plus all the points scott (denaliak) pointed out that are very true, im done w/ DDM.

Some will be good, some not, but to me for the price, the wait, problems, and the chance one is taking getting them to work, its not worth $30 bucks, or just a cheaper price to me.

But hope you get it all settled w/ no issues. More time for the HD front. lol
