I am new to this site, and am wanting to purchase a gently used Tahoe/ Yukon 4x4. I know I may be dreaming but I have heard good things about them and once upon a long time ago was a avid GM 4x4 owner several K5 Blazers and pickups over the years.
One of the vehicles I am thinking about purchasing is the one I have linked.

I am just not sure of it as I have heard the Autoride system is to be avoided at all costs? I have a budget under 10 grand for this vehicle (IE: under 200 a month financed) and I am wanting to get the most bang for my buck so to speak. This is not the only vehicle I am considering and most of the vehicles have on avg 95000-150,000 miles on the OD of which the price reflects as much. This vehicle is going to be a second car for me and will more likely just be driven 10 miles or less per day on avg. Another thing I do plan to do is modify the suspension, add bigger tires to it, possibly change the gears and modify the exhaust. If I could get one which is already lifted and finished that would be great as I do not have to jump on the first vehicle I find.
Ideally, I would have wanted a 2 door model, but they are few and far between and in poor condition with owners wanting top dollar for vehicles which are close to being in the scrap yard mechanically.
Basically, any advice people are willing to share would be greatly appreciated as I am hoping to be very informed before pulling the trigger on a new 4x4.
thanks in advance for any help.
