This may be a complete coincidence or I may have done something wrong but as soon as I finished installing my new shocks today I hopped in to go for a ride and I immediately started getting messages on my DIC about "SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL", "SERVICE STABILITRAK", and "STABILITRAK OFF". Has anyone seen this before right after replacing their shocks? What have I done wrong???

Surely there aren't sensors in the old shocks that I needed to put on/in the new shocks prior to install are there???

No sensors that I am aware of. I have got that same message before just sitting in a parking lot with the yukon in park idling. The error went away a few hours later and ive never seen it since so maybe yours is just a random coincidence?

That's actually encouraging! I hope it's random and just goes away. Very strange coincidence for sure.

Thanks to some help from Tony(NorcalSS) I got this figured out!! On the framerail directly above the top bolt of each shock is a connection for the stabilitrac system. Well, somehow the drivers side connection got disconnected while unbolting the top of the drivers side shock. I found the issue, reconnected it and we are back in business :)

Glad it was an easy fix and that I didn't screw anything up too bad :D those connections must unplug really easy though :/

It was getting very bouncy when going over bumps. With the new shocks it's MUCH nicer!! :)

Yeah that would be the first thing to check. Glad it worked out.

What kind of shocks did you get?
