It's all about driving style. You won't ever get 20mph going 75. 65 should be your max.

wow i10 is down there.. i take 82 to lubbock about 3 hrs for me at the speed limit lol..
ya i'm from Victoria tx about an hour and half south of San Antonio so its pretty far south lol.
I have the same air filter as you, and a borla muffler, DIY intake tube, and getting my BB tune on Friday. Hoping that's helps some. Also I plan to do electric fans after the tune sometime. So after that I will be curious what my mpg will be after all that. With my driving habits I'm in the 16-17 range with mostly city/ stop and go traffic. So hopefully will see some kind of increase. However once you put a muffler on you tend to give more throttle to hear it lol

please let me know what happens after the tune.

I say CAI + exhaust + BB tune= a possibility of 20 mpgs.

I get around 21-22 on the highway with mine.
I have a 91 BB tune......but also a reg Yukon and not the XL.

It would be a tough call.......

Damn I'd take 18-19 doing 85mph with 430hp lol

I'm going to give the Swiss cheese mod a go tomorrow and pick up an intake tube sometime next week and then see where I'm at from there.

Once im on the highway my mileago is pretty awesome for what I have. It's the city mileage that blows for me. I get about 12-13 city.

These are large trucks.

I used to have a Excursion with a 5.4........ that's bad MPG.

Getting 17+ is great imo

If you want more....... you want a *** mobile........ then get a Prius.

I'm pushing more power then buttons and only have a 20 gallon tank and 4.10 greats and a 6.0L bored and stroked with heads cam LT headers , 4L80 trans , Circle D 2800-3200 stall converter and on the highway I average 520ish to a 20 gallon tank.

Oh and a Walbro 400LPH fuel pump, full dyno tune for 93 octane.
