There are lots of happy 2015 owners out there.

I have friends who have them and even some have the buffetting and booming but love them.

I ask them “how do you like it? Any issues?” They say “love it! Been great no issues.” Then I ride in it and it buffets and booms. I say “what up with that?” They say “oh that? Yeah doesn’t really bother me”.

Point is, everyone has different tolerance for the issues these trucks can have. If you have a 2015 with a bunch of miles on it and it rides well then I say go for it.

Just got a great deal on ours. Have all maintenance reports on it. Shocks were changed and we had an issue with the wheel corrosion creating a slow leak right after purchase. Nothing else to speak of on car facts and maintenance records. 67,000 on it.

If possible try to keep the vehicle for 24 hours and take it on a long test drive. I would also have a good independent mechanic check it out on the rack. Make sure you check out the entire a/c system as some had bad condensers and leaky lines. Make sure you get ALL service records. If your Denali your looking at has over 70K miles on it a lot of those issues were probably addressed already.

With that said I rented several early 2015's with over 40K miles back in 2015-2016 and they were perfect. I had Enterprise pull all service records on one as I thought about buying it as it was going up for sale in the near future at the time and all it had done to it in 43K miles was just regular maintenance. No issues were found.

As I have said in other threads I bought an early year 15 Denali XL and had no issues with it until I traded it in for a 19 Denali XL in September. 65k miles. Best Denali we ever owned (5th one starting in 01).

thanks for the replies. this one has 58,000 miles on it. regular maintenance according to the Car Fax and i called the dealership it was serviced at and they said no issues when they saw it. during certification they resurfaced the rotors, replaced brake pads, replaced front shocks, replaced lower ball joints, replaced the battery, alignment, oil/filter change.

Happy with mine so far. *knock on wood* (I'm sure something bad will happen now that I typed that).

I'm not sure everyone has the same idea about the buffeting noise. Pretty much every vehicle out there does it if you only roll down one window. If that's the only time you hear/feel the noise, that's normal, unfortunately. Every vehicle I've had, if I want to drive with just the driver window open, I have to crack the rear windows. If it happens any other time, I'd say buy a different one.

Yes but many of these do it with the windows up.

2015 Yukon Denali XL 8-Speed & 6.2L. Purchased roughly 20 months ago CPO w/ 23K miles.

Currently sitting at 71K miles (mostly highway miles for work travel) and it’s been a great commuter, work/family vehicle. Got a decent local dealership for service, performed a few TSB’s no questions asked, am working on getting close to a first name basis with my go to service adviser though I haven’t had to go enough to solidify this (Previous Chevrolet & Cadillac dealership service experience has proven this to have a positive impact when needing warranty/service “favors” and at minimum honest straight forward communication. I suggest any vehicle owner strive to establish this type of relationship at their dealership for service no matter what brand of vehicle.). They even went above and beyond on a simple warranty claim, zero buffeting/booming. Although I’ve accepted the fact due to family size and vehicle capability needs I don’t make vehicle decisions based on MPG (honesty never have). Thoroughly impressed with my best of 26.7 MPG and of 22+ on 1 hr. or longer road trips and 14-17 MPG average day to day.

Despite all the threads you find on this forum that often consist of members who only signed up to make one single post/thread topic about their vehicle “review” and their unfortunate experience. Those type of vehicle experiences can be found across any vehicle make or model. There are quality 2015’s with dare I say MRC, 22” wheels, and an 8 speed transmission that ride great, perform as expected, and serve their purpose.

This forum has more than enough experienced members, repeat owners, and applicable first hand experience to provide you with the right tools of what to look for, what boxes to check before purchasing etc. Demand an extended 24 hr. test drive, get to know the vehicle as much as you can before pulling the trigger, and make an educated decision. If everything checks out and goes well you’ll be fine with a 2015... I don’t regret my decision one bit.

Good Luck in your search and purchase of your next vehicle.
