Right....it’s 2wd, automatic 4wd(not awd) 4wd hi and 4wd low.This is what my 2015 Tahoe LT 4WD looks like
Fleet cars have fewer 4WD options as yours shows. It has 4wd (no all wheel drive just an auto engagement of 4wd like they all have) but no low like most.I'm no expert but here's a pic of my dash showing 2wd/Auto/4wd
Bought it from Hertz 2+ years ago, so it could have been a special fleet package, it is what it is.....

I wouldnt use Auto 4WD on the sand. All it does it wait until you’re in trouble to turn on 4 wheel drive for you. I’d suggest turning it on yourself when you go into the sand. Not really something I need to care about, as long as I can use it 2 or 3 times a year and not worry about getting stuck on a little beach sand.
Nice to have if I ever need it but it's pretty irrelevant to me to know the technical side
"I'd rather pick the fruit than spend time studying the tree" kinda situation.
Exactly ...lmaoThis thread perfectly summed up the internet:
I DEFINITELY have an AWD Tahoe!
*everyone is confused because that isn't an option*
*posts picture clearly showing Tahoe isn't AWD*
*gets schooled on differences between 2WD, auto 4WD, 4WD*
Actually, I don't care about the technical details.
LOL.
Now that’s funny yatesy...mine has done it a few times too.....My wife loves auto 4wd so much that she never remembers to put it back in 2wd.
