I just opened it by pushing on it so it opens. Then I held it open while I cleaned. I used a damp rag. Carbon wipes right off.did you open with your fingers or turned ignition on and pressed the pedal to open it?

I didn’t see any coating. I used a water damp cloth. And then dried it with another cloth. Simple.Did you see molybdenum coating of any kind on the butterfly? Was it damp with water or damp with TB cleaner?
MAF/MAP/IAT/IAC/EGR throttle controlBlackbear guys were very helpful in analyzing the logs with me for the rough idle. They are A-class experts on GM motors and all analytics points that my ever persisting rough idle condition on 2018 Yukon is likely not ignition or fuel related thus no codes and very good reading in the logs.
Does anyone know if out of balance engine or out of balance AC fans condition is possible on 2018 engines?
Is there a fix for out of balance engine or AC fans? or any other engine fans?
MAF/MAP/IAT/IAC/EGR throttle control
poor spark
intermittent bad ignition coil
Torque converter
bad Bering on the accessory
vacuum leaks
issue with the transmission
other misc issues with the drive shaft stuff
The parts store I work with had one as a demo. Was really slick!$236 sniffer. Everyone needs one of those. I was expecting maybe $60 when I opened the link and then saw this. Can a Tech 2 do the same thing?
$400 to clean the throttle body? lol wow, I clean mine all the time I must be saving a shit ton of moneyI have idle raised all the way to 650 now but skipping/miss is still there when engine is fully hot. It is a bit worse on Exxon 89 but my truck seems to like BP 89 or BJ's 93 best. This is not scientific at all, just what I feel. Throttle body clean seems to be the natural exploration but dealer would not do it under warranty of course and want $400 for the job...
