Despite all the nonsense this truck puts me through
"Truck put you through"?
I'm pretty sure that truck didn't cut and lower itself.

Would it be accurate to addEverything suspension wise has been great, aside from the rear sway bar end link snapping ...
to 'everything suspension wise'?going through steering racks at an alarming rate
Would it be accurate to addto 'everything suspension wise'?
Or would going through steering racks at an alarming rate have nothing to do with getting low?
Nope both racks going bad had nothing to do with the suspension. First replacement one started leaking at the hose and the 10mm bolt stripped. Second one leaks from the seal where the steering shaft goes. I’m going to mark that one down as bad luck due to me being cheap and not wanting to spend $500+ on a new rack and lines
I installed a reman rack from Rock Auto in my '07 last year and so far, so good.Mine has a very small leak where the LH inner tie rod goes into the body. It's not enough to drip and a new OE rack is pricey if available. I considered resealing it myself if a kit was available. I've heard these things are difficult to refurbish, or maybe just the seal replacement part is, so refurb'ed units often leak.
My 2007 enjoyed leaking, also. I replaced the pan gasket twice, rear main twice, front seal once and then gave up and just let it do it's thing after that. Figured if it wanted to leak that bad then have at it. I got tired of fighting it. The other GMT900's I've had didn't have the issue so no idea what was up with that rig LOLEverything suspension wise has been great aside from the rear sway bar end link snapping
It’s the engine dying, rear windows working when they want, going through steering racks at an alarming rate, changing the rear main seal to only have it start leaking from the same area a few days later, etc etc
