DAY 8 FRAME Chopping

Got the new Plasma Cutter up and running. Had a lil free time today, so I put in about 5 hours or so. Not a lot of fabrication today but A LOT of brainstorming and measurements. You wanna make sure everthing is "true" and Square. This is gonna be a long process. It is gonna be a lot of patch filling and making templates,so I dont lose the squareness of the frame.

DAY 9: Rear frame section box in/Make new crossmembers

Wanted to have a quarter of the frame done before xmas. Boxed in rear quarter horns and fabbed up some nice center section crossmember and bodymount plate. My oldest daughter put in 4 hours today in the shop. She likes to plasma cut and grind...she can have at er!!



New Bodymount crossmember built and center section crossmember installed
Flipped the frame over so we could box the underneath in...
All boxed in and flapper disc'd. So as the frame sits now. It is a quarter of the way done. I will spend the next week fabbing brackets and welding,cutting and grinding. I should have the frame done new years week. Kids are off school so the two older ones wanna help. Which is always good!
