wow, i wish I would of seen this before you wasted your time. Of course LS7 heads wont work. They won't fit anything less than a 4.125bore. MAST motorsports makes small bore LS7 heads. I'd definetley go with a 90mm TB from a TBSS or LS2 car. That 78mm is restricting you some. You'll need to get a "X-Link adapter" to work. They're about $200 (you can find one used) Are the heads stock, or ported? What cam you running?

TBSs or LS3 TB or a Ls7 TB. But still need a x-link adapter. You're not running boost, so you won't have any issues, but the car TB's open up backwards and some guys lose power when running boost.

Z56, what year is your truck? The adapter is different, if its a 01-02
