You may have to unbolt the connecting rods from the crank and push them up into the cylinder to be able to turn the crank. if your plugs are out it should be simple. dont ask how i know!

This is what it looks like
From what I've read here, if you're looking that route, might as well grab the 14bb out of the rear end too. Right guys?

So just to be clear you are referring to the rear axle and differential, right? Sorry I'm new to these terms. Is the 14 bolt a 3/4 ton axle? and does the differential have the same gear ratio?
Also about how much would all these cost? I'm still trying to decide whether or not I should go with a 454 or just save some money and get a 350.
Yes (3/4 ton axle), from what I read (I'm not an expert, more like an internet expert) and I'm now just spitting it back out, the 10 bolt in our trucks that comes stock isn't exactly the most trustworthy. Especially when you're going to put more power and torque through it. That and if you can find one for a reasonable price, you will prolly be ahead in the long run since the rear diff will be more reliable.
But like I said, I'm no expert, this is just the common sentiment I've seen across the board on this site.
+1 ass end of mine blew out with the stroker lol.
