GATES 352182 pressure hose
GATES 352183 return hose to cooler
GATES 352281 cooler to reservoir

The last one from the cooler to reservoir is ridiculously priced in my opinion. $37 for 36" of 3/8" hose with some split wire loom around it.

I purchased 36" of 3/8" transmission hose from Amazon for $10 and reused the wire loom off one of the old hoses.

You only need about 20" of hose for that line.

Thank you sir. The Gates appear the same as OEM?

Strange lead readings, indeed. The dual filter, cooler, etc. was done at 238,104 miles? What air filter are you running?

No the dual filter setup and aftermarket oil cooler were added shortly before I started taking oil samples for UOA.

I am all but positive that the cheap Chicom oil cooler is what is leaching lead into the system. It is the only thing that makes sense to me for the lead readings to peak the way it did and then decline. And the copper numbers are good.

I have a K&N filter in there currently and it is probably over due for a cleaning. I will make sure and clean it when the new radiator goes in.

I am curious to see what the VOA has to say about the Delvac Extreme. That will determine for me when I take my next sample and how long I feel comfortable running this oil on the first oil change.
