The original bolt was stripped they strip easily so I just stuck a larger bolt in it for now I need to find a shorter oneBetter turn that top righthand bolt in on the bracket, if you haven't already.
That’s where I got my hood louvers. I didn’t see anything like that, but will look again. There is a guy in San Diego that makes them, rod louvers or something like that he has a website and sells on ebay also rodlouvers google it and it comes right up

This set up is so much better than in front of the AC condenser/radiator.All wrapped up, test drive around the area trans ran about 150, after I warmed it up real good and let it sit and idle it sat at 165 with no fan, its about 95degs outsideView attachment 343853
hopefully, I haven't had chance to really see how it does yet. might be taking a little road trip in another week or so which would put me thru some mountains about 6500 feetThis set up is so much better than in front of the AC condenser/radiator.

Looking forward to you observations after the road trip. How was the coolant temp during your test drive? My trans temps have been low after the tru cool but coolant creeps up to 230 on big grades; we have a lot of those here in Idaho. I’m going to drop mine this weekend. Nothing else to do since it’s going to be 105 outside.hopefully, I haven't had chance to really see how it does yet. might be taking a little road trip in another week or so which would put me thru some mountains about 6500 feet
Do you have a fan behind the newly relocated trans cooler? What do the temps get like when you're sitting in traffic, or just idling through a drive thru?hopefully, I haven't had chance to really see how it does yet. might be taking a little road trip in another week or so which would put me thru some mountains about 6500 feet
no fan, just idling a bit and driving slow in the local area it hung around 165 this afternoon and it was probably 90 deg ambient, I haven't even put 5 miles on it yet like this so hard to say what it's going to do, I drove it up and down the road yesterday to heat it up and it idled around 165 as well. When I get a chance I will try and give it a good work out and report back, maybe tomorrow or tuesdayDo you have a fan behind the newly relocated trans cooler?
