I have a Karl's auto part clamp that works for pass rear or driver side front broken stud if you need it. I was able to remove mine.
RcYukon. What was your header torque specs? Mine didn't come with instructions or maybe I misplaced/ threw away

My instructions from Kooks said to follow the vehicle repair manual. My repair manual says:

First pass starting from center bolts working your way outward - 11ft lbs

Second pass - center outwards - 18lbs

That was for 5.3l and 6.2l engines.

How you make out on the passenger side ? My header is resting on the trans line. I had to pry it a little and even it still sat a little to close for my liking. I had some exhaust wrap sitting around because my original plan was to wrap the headers. So I ended up wrapping the lines near the passenger header.
Also I had to relocate the power cable to the starter. Originally bolted to the frame. The header ran directly above it so it started melting the corrugated wrap. Good thing I caught it before it became a problem.

I just pried mine out of the way. No lines were touching. Been a few months with no problems. Now that you brought it up, I probably should double check.

I'm going to order a lava mat as well and place In between as well. Apparently it's not uncommon that headers touch after header install on all types of vehicles

No problems with the transmission lines but I did have to relocate the starter wire a bit and zip tie it out of the way. For me, the header wouldn't even line up either the head without moving that wire.

But, now after reading your post, I'm going to have a look at the transmission lines in the morning, just to make sure.

I have a slight vibration at idle now though, it seems the studs on my Gibson Catback are stripped causing it to rattle and sag a bit. So I'll be up early trying to figure that out.
