Ran into a problem with the door reflectors. Does the lens have to come out in order to get the LED in there.

My LED is to big to fit in the hole.

You have to drill it out a bit. They'll work just fine though. I did red in my doors and had the same issue.

I just got my 1st order put in and love them. Problem is I got Blue all around except for the license plate lights and my doors are teal in color :frustrated: Does anyone know if there is an after market option that is clear so I get a nice blue hue and not teal.

Great write up but... I have an 02 Z71 and the overhead monitor that came in it has different lights, they're 194 wedges. I replaced them with HP units that were 6.95 and worked a heck of a lot better than the standard single LED or even 6 LED version this write up calls for in the front. If you have an overhead TV, I'm betting you will not need the festoon bulbs. I also found the standard single LED 194's were too dim for the license plate lights AND the kick panel lights that come on when you open the door. I added 6 LED wedges for the license plate lights, and HP units for the kick panel lights under the dash. Hoping to pick up a couple of diodes and run a line to the dome lights from the Map lights to get it all well lit when I open the doors.
