Thank you for sharing. Our collective knowledge base has been increased.A bit off topic, but you could do yourself a big favour and treat some of the rust at your frame. I did a rustoration on my 97 Yukon in the summer, and was introduced to “Corroseal”. It is a rust converter that you can brush or spray on. It turns rust into a hard black “Magnetite” which stops the electrolytic process the rust needs to grow. I hit my frame with a wire wheel to get any larger scale off, pressure washed it and brushed the whole frame with the corroseal. Then I painted it matte black with a rattle can. Just thought I would share.
