lifted 99 tahoe question????

i just bought a 99 tahoe with a 6inch sus and a 3 inch body lift, i took it out to go play a few days ago and when i put it in 4x4 hi or low once it gets into a slight bind i can hear a clicking noise. could this be because the cv shafts are slipping out or something? im new to the 4 wheel drive game but i know my way around vehicles. any help is appreciated.

4wd on dry pavement will have some binding. Post a wide-shot pic from ground level of your front wheel/suspension components.
