I have to agree that the assorted 'mechanic-in-a-can' products seldom do you much actual good.

Does anyone else remember when 'lifter tick' was another way to spell 'small block chevy'?

If the bolts are broken below the manifold (which the usually are), you don't have to touch them. If they are sticking out a big past the manifold, you have to knock then down with a Dremel or grinder.

funny enough, i heard that back in '95

there are a lot of them ( all the others i heard in last couple of years), but that is best.


this is 2nd best

$ 30 for a little L bracket and bolts.... thats some margin there....

And I may buy one.... LOL

My front pass. side bolt is snapped below the flange...


Edit- ordering the Dorman.... LOL
