Has anyone had intermittent backup camera problems after install their 550? I had the dealer replace my backup camera under warrenty but it is still doing it. It is just a black screen and I'm 80% sure it must be caused by the 550.

I am in my avalanche but the cam is aftermarket. Not sure if it's aftermarket rear cam or the lock pick. It's getting aggravating though... Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Didn't want to start a new thread but I installed the Nav-TV Barracuda today. WOW.
I don't have an Ipod, Iphone, Ipad, or other Iproduct so I didn't consider this is my purchase decision.
I have the backup camera but no need to see the road behind me while I'm driving forward so I didn't force the rear camera.
All that being said, it cost $200 and took an hour to install. It allows me to push one button to turn on the DVD player on the front screen. With a push of one button I can input an address in to the factory nav while in motion.
I know there are other features that can be used with this but I don't need any, so for my needs this unit is perfect!

I just had my gmx550 installed a little ago...had nothing but glitches with it...first of all, the main reason i got it was for my iphone 4s and that doesnt even work...
Now for some reason im stuck with a navigation screen that doesnt move...dont know if its from the gmx550, but it shows that im stuck at my gym...hasnt moved since 2days ago...just the arrow rotates as i drive around!!!!!!!!

updated the software and it doesnt even work...just charges...
any idea what causes the Navi to freeze? just checked the BCM codes a few hrs ago...nothing...

Hmm no sorry I haven't had that happen to me... Yet. Also do you have the lock pick nav feature turned off? You need it off to actually use the nav. You just turn it on to put in a new address destination and then immediately turn it back off or your nav unit won't work properly.
