that's very cool. I had no idea. looks like 350$ for the 2011.

do you know if it has the gm Documents in them? like I have tsb that reference gm docs that I can't find in my work software or online.

if it had that, and since I have such a low volume model. it might be worth the money if something weird goes wrong.
If your question was toward me, no the paper manual does not include TSBs.

hmm. yeah the documents and tsb's seem to be two different things. the tsb is usually online somewhere. the docs get referenced in the 3rd party manuals I have but I guess you can only get them at the dealer. I haven't stopped by to see if they will print them for public.

This here is the holy grail of info.

Just wanted to say thanks for this. I'm just about to go change a motor mount and I thought I knew what I was doing but I looked up the page for the torque specs and the first thing on the page is this warning:

"Caution: When raising or supporting the engine for any reason, do not use a jack under the oil pan, any sheet metal, or the crankshaft pulley. Due to the small clearance between the oil pan and the oil pump screen, jacking against the oil pan may cause the pan to be bent against the pump screen. This will result in a damaged oil pickup unit."

I was totally going to jack it up by the oil pan.

I jacked mine up with a 2x4 on the cat converter. Others have had success with a block of wood on the back of the pil pan. Whatever you do make sure it's stable. Last thing you want is the jack to kick out when you messing with the mount.

I actually ended up putting a bottle jack with an extension under the oil pan rail. Maybe a little sketchy but worked like a charm.

Have you found the Mitchell to be accurate? Have you ever used AllDatadiy and if so how is the Mitchell compared to AllDatadiy?
For anyone in the future that may have this question. I have not used Mitchell, but I found AllDatadiy to be correct and useful. I used it to identify the wiring differences between my 2014 Sierra and the 2020 yukon denali I got the front seats out of.
