Hi,

I am looking to buy the nav/radio/cd unit for my tahoe (2011).

Anyone know where I can get a good deal on one?
How much does it cost brand new from dealer?

Also can I install it myself or dealer has to program it?
About how much do dealers charge for installation?

Thanks in advance.

Cheaper to get an after market head unit with nav.

Also a budget would be good so we can make suggestions.
Pioneer is good. The newer Kenwoods are good also, but pricy.

can you link me to the pioneer one that fit my car.

also I dont mind a small price difference if I can get factory. (better for resale if I ever end up reselling it)

I can probably spend 300-400

I would also like to have backup camera installed so it has to be compatible

You won't get anything navigation for $300-$400 unless it's old and used. even the Rosen (OEM Aftermarket) is around $500.

You can find a used oem/factory nav unit for GMT900 vehicles for 400-500 on eBay. If I were you though I'd save a few hundred more and go aftermarket.

Ah, ok. If you go to the dealer and say you want the factory nav, they will give you the Rosen head unit.

Also if you can tell me why is aftermarket better than OEM?

EDIT: Sorry didnt click the link before replying.

Factory nav sucks, expensive to upgrade, etc.
