I'm not sure if it requires an adaptor or not but it will definitely work. Either plug and play or with the purchase of an adaptor.

You will need a wire harness if you want to keep door chimes, Onstar, etc. They retail around $150 with Bose but the door chime sounds funny. It doesn't stay the same, well at least on mine it doesn't. If you don't care to keep those, they sell a different harness that's about $90. If you check eBay, you might be able to find a deal. I won the $150 harness for $60 shipped. I got lucky and no one else bid on it. The one I have is PAC-OS4. I think you can also use GMOS-12 on yours. Not 100% sure. If you go to the harness website, you can find the compatibility for your truck. Oh, and if you want to keep your steering wheel controls, you will need to buy another module. That one is around $50. But mine doesn't work very well. I actually stopped using it even though I have it installed b/c it doesn't work correctly.
