Factory nav sucks, expensive to upgrade, etc.

ok now that I got the actual name of the OEM navi Im finding info on google.

what would you recommend for aftermarket?

What I am looking for is something with good navigation + traffic, Backup camera capabilities, USB port, and looks close to stock.

I'm wiling to spend some money on a good unit. I just didnt know where to start with prices. lets say my new budget is 700 or lets say there is really no budget set lol. Just want something good that looks stock. would rather OEM part.

I would recommend Pioneer or Kenwood. Kenwood uses Garmin which is probably the best navigation app for aftermarket nav screens. Pioneer's isn't too bad but not nearly as good as a portable/handheld TomTom/Garmin. The aftermarket nav screens are also a lot faster than the stock factory nav screen. I've had the top of the line Pioneer nav screen and the factory nav screen in these vehicles and the Pioneer one was much much much much better. My next vehicle will definitely have the Kenwood DNX9990HD in it though.

That Kenwood 9990HD is a beast. I saw a demo unit and messed with it for at least half a hour.

Yea it has Garmin which is why I really want it. Navigation on GM's factory units are soooooo slow. Kenwood's last year model the DNX9980HD also had it but I hear it was extremely slow due to it's processor. The 9990HD has a new processor built into it supposedly so I'm sure it's much faster.
