Stainless steel... got it!!! Whatʻs the term dumping the exhaust mean?

Sorry for all the questions...

instead of going "out the back" where you can see the tail pipe, it's cut off under the truck or the pipe is turned down so it's clean looking.

Hmm... So you wouldnʻt see a tailpipe Iʻm assuming... Interesting... Is that for aesthetic value or for performance?

Continuing my research on my choice of exhaust...

Exhausts really don't add performance but they can hinder it. The way that exhaust is dumped, will just make it very loud from the resonance off the ground/underbody.

Thatʻs what I figured Jenna Bear!!! I have modded previous cars but only done full cat backs... So since we donʻt need to do that... I am trying to figure out the most efficient (Cheapest, best performing) for my HOE!!! So please help!!!

Thanks!!!

It's illegal come inspection time in many states.

You also may smell the exhaust fumes more.

On my DDs I have only done full catbacks, as I like the fitment better (and I hated the factory tips). Justin has done muffler swaps, as well as true duals on his.

Really, I say go with what sound and appearance you like best. Since you are close to water, like all others have said, stick to stainless.

Yeah want change out muffler and tips... But since Iʻm a young buck, and never had American muscle before, I want LOUD and throaty!!! So Iʻm leaning more towards the Flowmaster 40ʻs (STAINLESS)... I wouldnʻt mind doing duals but if it takes away too much back pressure then single is fine with me!!! So how would this work with the tips and the resonator delete? Should I buy on my own everything or just go to a shop and tell them what I want to do? Looking for cheapest route possible!!!

Thanks again Jenna!!!

P.S. After My Airaid and Exhaust... Next up... BB Tune!!!

:win:

Just a suggestion, stay away from Flowmaster....

You should be able to go to a reputable shop and have them button everything up for you. Best bet, is to shop around and see who can get it done for ya.
