Not to scare you or anything but a lot of guys were complaining about failed ls7 lifters a few years ago. I avoided doing lifters with my cam swap and I regret it now since I had the stupid things in my hands and didn't want to risk it. A lot of them were Vette guys and I think there were some defective heads that led to their problems and some cams with bad lobes and race specd cams so overall I don't think it was the lifters.
I'm curious which ls7 lifters you get since BTR sells them but I don't know which ones are the genuine GM ones. @67427ss is running them and his engine sounds great. I'm thinking about ripping my heads off and doing mine.. only issue is they have like 3 different ones listed ranging from $99-over $200..for Morels..

Thanks, yeah I have the trunion upgrade. That's for the rockers. Good luck with the trunion upgrade..******* the fingertips lol..Here is the kit I got, I believe Matt has the same one. I don't know enough about lifter failures so can't help you with that, will tackle when it comes. It’s best to give BTR a call they will make recommendations. Thank you for head up.
