Bottom line, the system will not be a direct swap. Modification will be needed.

You can just get an oem 6.2 exhaust and put it on your truck. It sounds a lot better and has no noticeable effects on performance. Just make sure you get the one that bolts right up. There was a change in the 09 or '10 models I think.

@kses123 Have you done this once before?

How does it sound on the 5.3?

The 6.2 is still a different engine so I would imagine it still would not be the same.
