@opfor2 I've found it's easier to go through the retailer, I would have them send you a new part and then just take the parts out that you need and send them the tie rod you didn't install back to them

Installing my Mevotech TTX lower control arms today, just installed their upper control arms like a month ago and the boot it already coming apart.

I'm curious about this, did you top off the grease after installing them? Before bolting to the knuckle? After bolting to the knuckle? Was there any grease between the knuckle and the boot at all?

I grease them after torqing them down so that I can make sure that I'm not overfilling them but these failed early for some reason. The new one and the other side have been fine
