She needs a bath right now, I'll snap some pics of the tint after I get her cleaned up this afternoon.

Tony, should I paint the spindles before I put them on the truck? They are all oiled up, it was hard to tell if they were already coated with something or if its bare steel.

Been looking at Corsa exhaust, do they make a kit for 2013, it looks like it stops at 2011?

Ordered the Airaid Jr Intake last night.

I usually clean them off and spray them semi gloss black with rustoleum paint. if you look at my escalade build thread first pages you will see how mine looked.

You don't waste anytime at all.

I think you will be finished by the 2nd week in 2013.

I don't know, ordering the parts is the easy part. Finding time to install anything with a 4 week old in the house is proving to be more difficult. We shall see!

Ok here are some pics...

Front window tint = 28%
It doesn't look very dark in this picture, but it usually looks a little darker than this. It was sunny when I took the picture :) Wish I could go darker but I'm scared of the POPO. If my wife got pulled over because of the window tint I would never hear the end of it!

I painted my spindles and the DJM Hardware Kit this evening. The spindles appeared to be raw metal. The DJM Hardware kit had their usually "crackle" powder coating, which I hate. I had a 96 Ranger back in the day that I lowered with their "dream beams", that had the same finish on them. Hated it then, and I still hate it now.

Everything will be getting installed tomorrow. I have a buddy that owns a tire shop and they are closed tomorrow for New Years. He's going to let me use his lift. Score!

Spindle masked off and wiped clean with brake cleaner....

After two coats of self-etching primer...

And everything painted and hanging up to dry....

I should have some pics of the lowered Hoe tomorrow evening. Hopefully, the wheels and tires will be coming in this week.

yeah i know what you mean. DJM now makes my own specific version Trailblazer upper control arms and I told them main thing i wanted em semi gloss black which they did since its my own part number.

When i was down in LA a few days at DJM seeing all the parts being made I asked jeff the owner why dont they do all parts same finish as my arms and he said they have been just using that since they started since other manuf. use black and people like the hammertone finish. I never did like the hammertone finish.

I like the gray they painted the sway bars, I think I'll keep that so they will stand out a little under the truck (not that anyone will see them). :) But that "hammer tone" had to go.

Here's another pic of everything painted up.

I can pick some up in the morning, but I don't have a tap and die set. Maybe my buddy will have one at his shop. What size hole should I drill and what size tap?
