If you can find where to add blocks up front, I'll send you $5 dollars for finding it.

However, no lift block of any sort should ever be used on a front axle. Ever. Totally unsafe and would qualify as ghetto fab/hackjob

Here's the bottom line. If you want to clear (and handle) 38's or 39's, you WILL need a Solid Front Axle. Also, I really don't think it will hold together with 38's or 39's with the factory IFS.

No offense man, but you're not ready to tackle a Solid Axle Conversion. If you're dead set on it, start researching. Keep reading into it. I've been reading and planning now for the last 2 years. I still don't really know when mine will ever get done. It's a lot more than cutting some old parts out and bolting on some new parts.

dude no offense taken you ain gonna offend me . . . and your totally right
i dnt have the place or the tools to do that . . . i just figured since i

dnt have no front drive shaft for my 4x4 it shouldn't really hurt with

the ifs i got . . . i mean i really dnt ever get off road less its to hunt or

fish every once in a while but even then i still dnt have 4x4 . . . but i

plan on getting an extra set of rims so if i do get these bigger tires

you know when i wanna go play in the mud once i get my drive shaft and
hope to god the guy before me put the same gears up front as the back

i can just throw the smaller tires on to go get muddy lol even tho

my road tires are most likely gonna be boggers lol messed up huh . . .

and i do not understand this block issue you guys are giving me lol

my bronco had a 3 inch block on the front and the back of the frame

and then we fabricated new shock mounts to set them down lower for a

little more lift . . . the blocks were between the frame and body like any

block would be right . . . idk its no big deal if i can't clear em i won't get

em no big deal but i know they should clear fine

If I was you, I'd talk to the former owner of it and see what all has been done to it. He's a member on here and GMFullsize.

You have a 6inch suspension and a 2inch body lift right now correct? Which you could run about a 37 inch tall tire. You could take out the 2inch body lift for a 3inch and MAYBE tuck 38's with some trimming if needed.

But remember, IFS+38's is not what I'd be running if it was me. 37's if it's built correct. 38's are pushing it.

If it was me dude, I'd keep it how it is now. Maybe add some 37's on it. It's a clean looking truck as it sits man

I don't think it has the same gears front and rear

why go bigger though? it looks big enough and the 4wd doesnt even work so kinda pointless. bigger trucks can gett annoying are are pretty usless. mines only got 5 inches on 35s and its a pain when i have to load my latters on the roof. i wouldnt want it any higher. but if your going for looks the i guees the 3inch bl and crank if ya want to fit the 40s and ride like a tank lol

This. One reason I'm looking to buy something as a daily driver. It's not practical to do anything with. Other than wheeling or showing off to other people.

Get your front diff regearded. Get a front driveshaft and have fun with it man. It sits up pretty high as is.

ya i thought the body lift was a block i guess i missunderstood becouse when i put

the blocks on the bronco i thought you just called it a body lift but i found out its

completly illegal for block to be in the front . . . but im really mad to find out that

it might not be geared same as the back . . . i was just looking for a easy fix for

40 inch tires but its no big deal like yall said 37's do look good on it and i know

those will fit no prob . . . lol i don't gotta put nothing on top my rig tho so that dnt

hurt nothing if it goes higher . . . i look more into it bout 38's and see how much

trimming i gota do

hey man i appriciate your input on everything i don't want you thinking

im ignoreing you or anything its just i don't ever really seeing my self

getting the front drive shaft for it so bigger tires should't do any harm

but i just got another set back on the tires any way but i might have

another job comen to me so idk yet . . . i just know in my perspective

or my thought that if you have all that lift on a truck it would only look

right with bigger tires . . . i can't stand 35's really on anything iv just

always ben used to 40's and 38's on all my rides

You could put a bigger body lift on it.

You can also jack up the truck and check gear ratios by spinning the driveshaft and tires.
