Does anyone know what the moulded piece of carpet is called that goes around the base of the second row 60/40 bench to hide the base and the bolts? Some on this forum have said it is one long piece, but could it be two? I have a 2009 Tahoe LT, ebony interior, no power to the seats. I went to the dealership (well known and respected) where I bought it. Since they go by VIN # (mine of course had capitan chairs), I found a VIN # for a 09 Tahoe that came with a bench. They looked it up and still couldn't find what the part was called or its number. GMPartsdirect has a few things that it could be: lower trim, lower trim panel, outer finish panel. Which one is it?

I have a 60/40 bench in my 07 and it is just one piece. I think if you have the 2nd row captains it is 2 pieces. I have never personally seen it but that is what I've heard on here.

I looked on GMPD but don't really see anything in the illustrations...I'll check it out after work and likely post the part number (if i can find it) later tonight for you. I have titanium interior though...

Just curious, what happened to yours?

The number I found on the piece is 15837174 but GMPD doesn't have an item for that part number...weird. Some pics below of the part

Still can't find a part number for it, but I think I found an illustration of the part on GMPD. Not sure if this link will work, but try,

I believe it is #29, but please do not quote me on it, i still think you'd need to confirm it with someone more qualified than myself

Thanks for the pics. This weekend I'll try and look and see if the frame that bolts to the floor looks like yours with the carpet piece off. I have two car seats and a boster seat to remove and then strap back in, so if I don't get it done this weekend, give me a few days!!!!!

Capitan chairs came with the Tahoe when I bought it, but I wanted and found an ebony leather bench that came out of a brand new 2009 tahoe. However, the shop that I got it from didn't have this piece.

Finally was able to check this out (I've had the damn flu and a sinus infection all week). I raised the 40 seat up and comparing it to the third picture you posted, the bench frame that bolts to the vehicle looks identical. I think its a good bet that the carpet trim in the 2007 for a 60/40 bench would fit one for a 2009. Thanks again for the pics. Now to order it from GMparts!

Hi!

I also replaced the second row bucket seats with a bench seat in my 2009 tahoe. Were you able to find the carpet trim to go under the seat? If so, do you know what the part number is? I ordered part number 25875548, but it was too long.

Thanks!
