hey guys just checkin in on here, this is my first day posting its been a while since i have been on any forums.

My name is Jon and im from Central Jersey, i have my 2001 yukon slt with 6" procomp lift with the additional tripple shock front conversion. im currently running 315/75/16 pro comp extreme all terrains on mickey thompson series IIs. added minimal fender flares as well. i have added HID lows and fogs. im driving this beast every other weekend from VT to jersey and back to see my GF, it cruises at 85 on the highway with no probs. suprisingly im getting between 13-15 mpg on the highway. any imput would be greatly appreciated thanks.4384770947_1425cdf2d6.jpg

Ok, im Active Navy, former DDG guy so you have this comming.

" Whats the best part about being in the coast guard? If you ever get sick of it, you can always step off the side of your boat and walk to shore. " :)

That being said, nice rig, i plan on the pro comp or fabtech lift for mine as soon as i get orders to come back stateside in a few months. If you dont mind me asking, what did the lift cost you all up and installed? How do you like it? Anything you would do differently?

That looks great with the lift! You don't see many lifted 2000-2006 Yukons or Tahoes around these parts, so it's nice to see pics of one.

Steve, haha yea it does get pretty cold up here the temps have been changing like crazy over the past few weeks which is mighty annoying but at least in the winter we get to play with toys like this 4307679658_7f80b426ae.jpg 525hp new corvette engine powering a fan to go over the ice, water and snow.

ryan, yea im used to it by now, the funny thing is that we have so many cutters around the globe as well thats not even a true statement anymore. thanks for the props on my rig, as for the suspension i am very happy with is overall it drives great has maintained a great turning radius and parallel parks like a champ even in the "city" here of burlington. im trying to remember the exact costs of the lift, i think the lift itself was about $2000 plus install, then the upgraded front hoops were about $400 plus $40 a shock x6. it was a pretty costly undertaking but she definately rides nice.

nolan, thanks for the props thats one of the reasons i descided to go with it
