My 2016 Escalade build

Hey Tony, I'm thinking about getting headers and a y-pipe. I'm leaning toward kooks for both of these since their website says they must be used together. Do I do 1 3/4 or 1 7/8? Only mods are a Gibson catback and aFe intake.
Also, could I do ARH long tube headers with a kooks y pipe?
And would I need a tune for any of this?
Sorry for all the questions, I'm just not familiar with a lot of the mechanical stuff and you seem to know a lot about this.

Personal opinion here, Id do 1 7/8, and Id use kooks for both, and you should have it tuned.

well i decided to call hennessey out on their 800hp package....... so here we go

Starting a 416 build.

I got the truck out of the shop last week and had all the chrome colormatched/tinted front/rear/3rd brake light and also had them color match the top portion of the escalade tail lights since i hated the look

WELLLLLLLL my Whipple 2.9 Escalade making more power Very happy with numbers. 7.5 psi/91 pump gas/ARH Headers/3.5 MagnaFlow cat back/z06 fuel pump/fuel line mod and @gptuning tune. 565/573. Old run was 543/566 with 6.5 psi. What peak numbers don't show is mid to top end 20 to 30 rwhp/rwtq increase. We let off the run early that's the dip at end. I'm a full Whipple dealer and if your interested in a kit give me a holler.

Oh I'm also a Alky control dealer and so I have a meth kit coming. Goal is 600/600 at wheels at 7.5 psi with no internal mods....on 26s lol

I'm almost done with this project and its been fun.

Well new rims are here. 26 inch 3 piece strasse forged. I will be doing same 295 30 26 front but resr 305 30 26.... my new 416 stroker should be here next week. 1000hp will be fun.
