My Bodyshop DID a HORRIBLE JOB!!

I have taken my car into this body shop here in San Diego, he said it will cost $800 and TWO weeks so i said. OK .. that's great prize.

well he lie, he told me to pick up the SUV several times and stupid me i drove about 25 miles each way to the shop for him just to tell me come back next week, which he did about 4 to 5 times. i did mention about my frustration and he said i understand. ******* LIE.

Well today i check the car, its finally finish, the paint looks good, but the body works that needed was fix but he misses a few dents and wave which bugs the hell out of me, i told him. damm dude. that dents and wave its so damm noticeable, CAN YOU FIX That. he said yes. but you have to bring the car back in a few days and i will fix the dents one by one.. i was like. WHATT..

So i made a deal with him.. I told him... I pay you $600 for the body work and the paint you have done and we call it even!!! he said OK..

i will post a picture of the SUV tomorrow, after i Illegal pay someone to pass me SMOG. JK

he's probably a chargers fan..haha jk, umm yeah dude that sucks..luckily my dad is the best guy in town with giving you the best paintjob, so i'm lucky with that, but maybe you'll find someone soon

Tip: if it's a decent shop, the front office will usually have the walls plastered with photos of previous jobs. I had bodywork done to my Yukon this fall and the shop in town has a good reputation, and he let me walk through the shop (escorted) to check out his latest paint job for my inspection. Needless to say, he got the job, and I am extremely happy with the results.

Sucks that you screwed yourself out of $600. If I'm not happy with the work, I say so. Sounds like this guy was a total hack, prolly welds cars together to make "good" cars to sell. Ask around next time and see what people have to say about the shop before you commit to pay.
