My hoe is stumbling, cant get it right. help.

Always on should get an EGR code ... are you sure your check engine light is working??

My CEL light is working... I just replaced the distributor to get it to go off but the truck still kept dieing and bucking, turned out that after I cleaned the EGR those issues were history... but no CEL light for the EGR....

probably because the pintle was still moving as commanded by the pcm but is does not see a plugged passage.
