Little bummed I can select my videos from my iPod and only get the sound, no picture...

It's available now however you wont be able to play video from an iPad just due to the way the it indexes and transmits data via USB. You order from my website and send your HMI module to us for programming.

Chris, what is involved in removing the HMI unit? Does the head unit need to come out?

I swear they do this to sell onstar... My audi just made you say ok to a warning and then your passenger could enter an address.

You can also send an address from your phone using the onstar app. Not sure is that is a pay or free feature...

Just an FYI and heads up to you guys, I have entered into contract that as of July 1st this product will be sold exclusively through a very reputable third party. The thing is it will also be more expensive so if you have ANY interest in getting this done you'd need to order before July 1st; just a heads up!

Does this affect any other vehicle programing? Void any warranty issues and such? What if GM updates the system will it erase the hack?

Lastly if I ordered today could I secure my price but send out AFTER the 4th of july?

and can you drive the car while the HMI is out? typical turn around if i send out on a monday overnight?

No, no and the way updates are done right now its perfectly intact.
