:waytogo: window tint always makes a big difference. I've got plans to go darker on mine especially on the windows that were tinted at the factory. Just not dark enough for me...

I just told the tint guy to match my back ones.

Well, I've got tint all the way around but I want my back ones to be darker (more like 5%). The tint that's on my front doors needs to be redone anyway. The previous owner didn't take great care of the tint and there are small gouges in it (how does that happen??) so the front doors need to be redone anyway so I'll have those redone at 35% (darkest legal in MO) and the rears tinted as dark as they can.

State trooper in LA told me back one's can't be dark either so I left em stock. In my z71 tahoe with 5% tint I got pulled over 3 different times for tint.

Wow....must be an LA state law thing then. In Mo they don't care how dark the rest of your windows are as long as the windows on your front doors is no darker than 35% and you cannot have your windshield done at all past like 6" from the top of the windshield. Pretty silly but up until about 10 years ago you couldn't have your front door tinted at all without a permit from a Dr so it's better than it used to be.
