I did the depot projector swap and have been pretty happy with them. Much easier than a full retro for sure!

yeah if this set doesn’t work out then that’s exactly what I’ll be doing. I just like the look of a factory style housing. The depos don’t look bad though they are a more simple design.

What shroud did you go with ?

Well the goal was to use the shroud that was on them already. The company that sells the bracket kit (dont remember which company I used) told me that it would fit. However the shrouds completely fell off and broke in pieces as if they were made of glass. I extracted them through the projector hole with hemostats and never added a shroud. I didn't want to have to bake them and deal with re sealing them. It's only noticeable if you look directly at them and if you even know what your looking at.

I'll try to remember to take up close pics tomorrow. It was basically a day 2 mod and at the time planned to leave it all stock besides minor safety upgrades like headlights. The light out put is incredible! 20190918_162410.jpg 20200328_113145.jpg

Still haven’t touched the headlights. Got a new enclosure design for the 6 12’s and will probably be tackling the build on that this weekend. Then I’ll get to redoing the headlights. @05Single procrastination must be rubbing off on me. Lol but seeing the gold sun faded anodizing on my switchbacks through the corners finally bugged me enough to plasti dip them black tonight.

Left the very front covered to try to dim them down a little.(yeah I said that) haha. It helped a little but they are still kind of annoyingly bright when looking at them. Ordered some cheaper chip style switchbacks to try them out. if they end up matching the white of my headlights I’ll be happier anyways. My switchbacks are more of a warm white compared to the projectors. 0F284A5F-8D68-4D3E-BD3F-F0EFA43253AF.jpeg BC76BC0C-47C1-472A-B802-5FC906DCC29C.jpeg 1B4AA82C-8CFC-4F54-BA18-07D31CE0A3E1.jpeg 462F2C18-467A-44C5-A065-D4E8AF9BC603.jpeg

Damn today was a long one. Started on the new enclosure. Got it mostly built. Put epoxy on the bottom and letting it sit till tomorrow then get more of the sides done. Also had to take some pics when the light was just right haha.
