It's nice that this thread was made because I am doing the EXACT setup as vatahoelt. I got all the stuff friday, but it will be a few weeks before install. anyway my dad and I were looking at all the wires the other night and found ourselves asking the same questions that you had. And they were already answered here which makes it better. question though, does the PAC-Bose harness fit in right behind the Head unit? and does the relay mount back there as well?

a couple more things.. Just looking at the instructions and playing around with my hu and interface.. I should just wire everything up ahead of time then take out the stock head unit and the interface adapters plug right into the pre-existing adapters? And what is the best way to connect the wires from the head unit to the bose interface?

i should have taken more pics of my install, but i was on a time constraint and it was around 30 degrees the whole day.

but yes, once you take out your old radio, you'll see a little ledge type area to the right rear, for the time being, i just stuck the pac harness and all the wires up there.

to connect the hu wires to the pac harness ( don't forget the blue amp turn on wire as well. save you the headache i had) i soldered them and covered the connections with heat shrink tubing.

the hardest part for me like i mentioned earlier was getting the stock xm tuner out along with the bracket and mounting the new xm tuner. i actually cut out a piece of the stock bracket to use for the new one.

there's a lot of info out there on these installs, but it seems to be pretty spread out, so don't hesitate to ask me any questions. i'm happy to help.
