i'll probably go performance instead. tune, LTs, and maybe efans. i'm sure all that will be more fun than a dvd player in my dash. ;)

Okay, so I've been looking into buying new DD DVD unit. If I've read correctly, in order to keep my xm radio, steering wheel controls, and to use my factory bose system, i'll need the following adapaters?

PAC OS-2Bose
Kenwood KCA-XM100V XM Adaptor
Audivox CNP-2000 MiniTuner
SWI-JACKxxx

Does anyone have any opinions on the particular adapters out there?

Any help is appreciated.

so i got the kenwood ddx514, xm tuner, pac os-2bose, just waiting on the xm adapter before I install it.

one question on hooking up the parking wire. just hook that up to the ground to get it to play while driving? is that correct?

on the xm antenna- every vehicle i have ever seen, every antenna I have ever seen, all have the same connector. The plastic shell may vary occasionally, but the actual metal connectors are the same once that is removed.

I see where the confusion lies...
Guess I should have types RE: xm antenna... (as in not on the most recent subject)

Ie you don't need a new separate antenna if you already had xm and are going aftermarket xm.

oh okay, i see what you are saying now. i hope you're right that i can just hook up the wires to my new kenwood xm tuner, but i have a feeling i might need to get this adapter to make it work.

i haven't pulled down the glove box to see yet though. if it's just 1 plug from my antenna, then i should be good.
