i have all alot of information somewhere on the fittings i used, but just buy everything through Summitracing.. buy a new filter while your at it. I spent around 100 bucks in lines and fittings to get everything done right. nothing leaks and itll never rust either.

and go with these plugs if you havnt done so alreadyAC R42LTS plugs

Get a wideband, fuel pressure, and boost gauge.. If you skimp out on these things, you havea very good chance or going to rich or lean and blowing some shit up. Run 93octane as well, make sure your belt tensioner isnt rubbing the bracket..

Work is crazy busy, TYF is 1 of 3 sites I make it a habit to visit. :(

Besides when you finally get your junk running I'll be knocked down a peg ... so it's cool with me, take your time.

Just a quick question. The two last fittings in each line (the one on the right, and the one on the left after the gauge fitting), why did you use 5/16 hose fittings? Is that what size line you used?

I was planning on using this line -> http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-230615/
I just noticed that the internal diameter is 0.343 in.
5/16 in. = 0.3125
3/8 in. = 0.375

So would it be better to get a fitting that is slightly bigger, or slightly smaller than the internal diameter? Would it really make a difference, since I can tighten the ends down onto the lines?

I was planning on using these fittings -> http://www.summitracing.com/search/?keyword=sum-220007&dds=1

Thats whipples setup on that picture your refering too. thats what you would of got with the kit if you bought it brand new. Stainless lines running up the firewall, then a rubber very flexible hose running from the fuel pressure regulator to your TBI. its just how they did it. its hard to manuver braided line sometimes..

Dude, your thinking tooo much! 6an line and 6fittings is perfect. your fuel pressure regulator will control the flow, shit TBIs will only have around 12 to 25 psi, lol. You wont see any restriction with those hoses.

BTW, my setup is the first 2 pictures.. the rest are all for reference. if you need more "reference" pictures, let me know. I have over 200 tbi whipple installation pictures that are great to look at and see how people did it. Ive been researching tbi whipples for probably over 5 years now. i can make just about any part thats needed for the kit.

With the amt of power we're talking here you can go with either size and not see a difference, if you were running some 1,000HP beast then hose sizes start to matter.

Sorry, I didn't word that well. I wasn't asking about the size of the line, I was asking about the sizes of the fittings. The line is 0.343 internal diameter.

A 5/16 fitting has an i.d. of around 0.3125
A 3/8 fitting has an i.d. of around 0.375

So a 5/16 fitting would be a little smaller, and a 3/8 would be a little bigger. Does it really matter which way I go? Just want to make sure before I order all this stuff. I'll try to talk to summit. For example, would the line (smaller i.d.) be able to stretch enough to fit over the 3/8 fitting (0.032 bigger i.d.)

See what I mean. Maybe I'm overthinking it. Thanks for all the help guys, I'm learning a lot. I just want to make sure I do this right, don't want it to be half-assed or dangerous in any way.

unknown at this time.
NO! N! NO! you must have 3in. aircraft fuel lines so the charger can motive flow JP-7 directly into each cylinder.

Something like a few of these might do as well.
