IMG_3837.JPG I finally got the drilled and slotted rotors. I got F1 euro rotors that are made here in Canada. from what I was told they are the sister company to R1. Either way they are zinc coated and slotted and drilled. Strength tested and two year unconditional warranty. I would have liked to get the R1 brakes but the dollar sucks way to much and I needed them badly. The brakes are still breaking in but WOW what a difference, I also bleed the brakes just to move the fluid and get fresh stuff to the calipers.

Pictures will follow when I can figure out how to do it.

If those are the same as R-1 that zinc coating lasts. I have two winters on mine and the rotor hats are completely rust free.

I can`t really say how much better they are because i also upgraded to the 07+ calipers, rotors and braided stainless lines when i replaced the brakes. But the difference was very noticeable.
