Btw. Anyone got any suggestions on what kind of calipers and discs I should go for? I do haul alot of horses, and need strong and reliably brakes.

Not sure on the compatible years, but I have read numerous times about NBS guys buying OEM NNBS brakes and they bolt right up. I believe the NNBS brakes are considerably larger. Unless you go high end (Wilwood, Brembo), I would think OEM brakes would be of a better quality and a lot less money than a lot of aftermarket.

Well, I have been told that OEM brakes are not as good as they could/should be. And that is why quite a few have installed aftermarket brakes, and have experienced much better brakes than the OEM ones.

As I said, I am hauling horses, so I need better brakes than the stock ones I have now. (Yes, the trailer got brakes also, but still...)

Get hydroboost, stainless steel brake lines, GMT 900 front calipers with brackets, get GMT 900 hawk lts pads with powerslot rotors, same pads/rotors for rear. Did all that to mine and it stops great!

+1 on this. The hydro boost is huge. Ditch youe ageing rubber flexible lines and upgrade to stainless braided. If you search here i put up a lik to the company i used for a whole front to rear conversion kit. And i hear but havent done it. The 2006+ body style tahoes ran a larger front rotor by 1". You need to buy the calipers loaded i think though, something about the bracket not coming any other way. Either way stay with current stock rears. Nnbs's are smaller. If you have hydro boost now. Change the ps fluid in it. Your brakes will get stronger right there. Search the forum for that too. Good luck, shouldnt have to uppgrade to anything else.
