Okay guys, my magnaflow cat assy and flowmaster exhaust assy along with Delco O2 sensors (from amazon) should arrive today. Will get them installed this coming weekend.

I have a code for a bad sensor post-cat and the cats don't sound too good when banging on them. The muffler is all original too and has a few holes starting. Since the cats and muffler are getting discontinued I snatched them up. No use in putting new 02 sensors in old pipes. Since the sensors are all original it can't hurt replacing them.

Can't wait to take them out of the box and hug them. Then I will open the invoice and cry at the $$ leaving my wallet.

Roger that. I will have the wife ready with the camera tonight!! Being married and having kids, I've become accustomed to crying a lot when I open my wallet. :)

Maybe I'll find a pic of her from 15 years ago. :)

It's okay........I will tell her I said that. She's used to it. If I wasn't such a smartarse she'd think there was something wrong!!

Well, here are some initial pics. No crying or hugging yet. Barely had time to open and setup to oogle at it. The last time I installed the magnaflow cats was several years ago and I don't remember it being two pieces like this one it. I came with a nice wide clamp so I don't anticipate any leakage and it probably allows the pipes to bolt more easily to the manifolds for proper alignment before tightening the clamp.

Including time to put Wlibur in the air and get him on stands, it took 20 minutes total to get the old exhaust and cats off with no power tools. Tonight the new stuff should go on. I will post pics of it all once it's done.
