New Exhaust Manifolds

I'm looking to do mine in the next couple weeks as the correct fix from the clamps that I've had on for a while now.

my question is for those that have replaced them, what brand did you wind up going with?

Just purchased a set of ATP manifolds and AC Delco gaskets...stay tuned.

Why are you replacing the manifolds? They're pretty stout, and I don't think they're prone to cracking. Did yours warp with the broken bolt?

I think I'd opt for shortys if that was the case. But that's just me.

i never liked messing with trying to reseal old manifolds but ive also just went with shorties for that.

Would definitely go with shorties if forced to replace factory manifolds. Won't provide a huge net gain, but better than nothing.

I have 3 clamps on them now due to bolts that have broken off over the years. (2 driver side and 1 passenger) Since I'm pulling them off to do the proper fix and remove the broken bolts, I figure I have no idea of their actual condition until they're off and I'm doing new gaskets and all...for the $120 I'll just go new and have peace of mind all will be sealed up nicely. I have no experience with shorties or anything aftermarket like Borla or others so just go for simple OEM fit and call it a day.

On my 07 Denali, broken back bolts both sides.
Removed the manifolds,had them planed then new bolts.

After a couple of years, I still have clamps on the rear broken off studs, both sides. Everything is still sealed and quiet. I plan to leave it that way indefinitely since no other stud heads have broken. I'd probably just clamp those, too (sorry if that makes you cringe)... cheap and fairly easy.
