Howdy folks. I recently bought a 2005 Yukon that has been sitting since 2018 and it has lots of quirks that i'm trying to figure out. Any help is greatly appreciated.

1- TPMS light is on, even after new tires and tpms sensors from Discount Tire. Discount has reprogrammed the tpms 3 times at this point and the light comes back after less than 5 minutes of driving with the "check tire pressure message".

2- Radio has power but no sound is coming out of the speakers and also no door chime. (SLT with Bose) Both amp fuse and radio fuse are good. Not sure where to go next.

3- No brake lights or cruise control, all other lights are working. All fuses are good. Going to replace brake switch today and see if that fixes it.

4- Service airbag light is on. No idea where to even start there, don't want to accidentaly set one off.

5- Sun roof is leaking from the rear and dripping onto the seats. Drain lines are clear. Is there a rear drip rail that I'm missing? Anyone have a picture of what it looks like?

Appreciate any help on any of these issues.

Can't help you with #1. I despise TPMS. So my advice would be to swap to an earlier cluster that doesn't support TPMS. Then the light is not just out, but gone from the system. And you can get rid of the sensors, too.

For number 2, I'd visually inspect the radio and it's wiring, to make sure nothing has come unplugged. Same thing for the Bose amplifier. After that, you are likely going to have to go wire by wire. HOWEVER, it just occurred to me that there may be another fuse for you to check, besides just the one to the radio. Finally, if it is an aftermarket radio, it may have the wrong impedance for the Bose amplifier. Bose wants 2 Ohms, and a lot of modern radios want 4.0

For number 3... Do you have LED lights? If not, do your emergency flashers work? If you have LEDs, you likely need to replace the flasher mechanism with an aftermarket one. If the flashers don't work, you likely need a multifunction switch. In either case, these are places to start looking, not necessarily advice to fire the parts cannon.

For #4, the most likely case is that one or both of the airbag sensors just behind the bumper have gone bad. They are easy to replace, and you can buy them from a junkyard cheap. If it isn't one of those sensors, you will need to map out all the components of the airbag system and check the wiring. Things I've had to deal with were those sensors and the clockspring, in the steering column.

For #5, why do you think it is the drains or the rail? Couldn't it just be a bad seal? Also, on my Escalade, I've had some issues getting it to shut correctly -- my wife gets it right every time, first time!!! -- so it could be as simple as you not getting the roof closed all the way.

Good luck, and welcome to the forum!

#3 is likely the brake pedal sensor/switch. That should be an easy fix and part should be cheap. That fix should correct the light and CC issues.
#2&4 ….. check the wires under the seat. Wonder if the water leaking corroded the wires? I think there are models under both driver/passenger seats that one might control airbag light. Radio might have an amp under passenger seat?
#1…. No clue… sorry.
#5 - try cleaning the drain ducts. Look up WatchJRGo on YouTube and he recently cleaned the drains on a Lincoln LS.

First thing to do is put a scanner on it that will read the SRS and TPMS codes. Get those for a starting point for those systems, and post them up here for us to noodle.
