I swear, you guys would gripe if they hanged you with a new itchy rope. Decent light when I got home so I snapped some shots. I washed it when I got home and cleaned about 50 pounds of junk and mud off and out of it. The tailgate is off for repair to the latch and the bed liner is out as I don't know if I want to reuse it.

The system says the side and rear photos are too large. I need to pull the transmission as it has a bad throw out bearing. I'm tempted to pull the engine with it and see if I can find an SB400 or even a stroker 383. Not all cranks are machines for a pilot shaft on a manual transmission though.

Is that that double cup holder with one of them missing?

The dash is the same as my 2000 Escalade was. I'm not sure what's missing. I haven't had a chance to head to the bone yard for a replacement. I may do something custom. It's a straight solid truck with very little rust. Somebody just beat the snot out of it and didn't keep up on maintenance.

I like the blue, I like the winch, but that rust looks like it would be a problem. That things seen some work tho!

Municipal vehicles may have low miles, but are definitely used. You can buy a fire truck for instance thta may just have 19,000 miles. The engine will need a rebuild as it sits and pumps water for hours on end.

While looking for parts, I found this;

https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-1988-1999-CHEVY-GMC-C-K-PICKUP-TAHOE-YUKON-FRONT-BUMPER-GRILLE-HEADLIGHTS/164725222468?fits=Year:1995|Model:C1500|Submodel:Sierra+SL|Engine+-+Liter_Display:5.0L|Make:GMC&hash=item265a636c44:g:9BMAAOSw3KtgOFpi

I don't know if I want to change the look that much or even if I'd like it once it's on. It's also not a cheap piece, at least in price. I'm thinking about when I go to sell it.
Please no. :doublepuke:

I'm not much into chrome anyway. Chrome don't get you home. I did find a black one (for less money) that might go on if I try to sell it to kids. The truck needs a LOT of work before I get to that point.
