Hey guys, I just bought a 2004 Escalade EXT, 96k miles. Got a good deal on it so I pulled the trigger this afternoon. VERY VERY clean, tan interior, has some aftermarket 22"s on it, which I'm not sure I like yet, but maybe they'll grow on me.
Anyways, I was just wondering if there is a 90-100k mile tune up I should think about doing? Spark plugs, wires, anything like that.
There's a few issues I wanted to get some opinions about:
1. The steering wheel does not feel very...Tight. I turn it a little bit and the wheels dont turn until i really turn it. On the highway that can become difficult to drive. I think it may be some of the steering components that are worn, but if there is a common problem with this, feel free to chime in.
2. Shocks need replacement, I think I'm gonna go with Bilsteins, but if there's a better option please let me know.
3. I have a slight vibration over 65mph, I'm going to get the wheels and tires balanced on a roadforce, see if that fixes it.
Heres some pics, next to my other baby.
Don't worry, I'm taking that hideous chrome trim off asap.
