Nope. Look into lithium mining and it’s terribel effects in the environment. Then It puts graphite into the air and make people sick when they make the battery. Disposal is another story on it own. It’s funny you go around telling everyone they are wrong when you have very little knowledge on a ny of these subjects. http://www.greencarreports.com/news/1091060_electric-car-batteries-graphite-and-pollution-in-china

It’s not YOUR right to tell me what to drive Nor anyone else. Big trucks are produced once and that big V8 will go half a million miles and 20 years. Meanwhile manufacturers pump out multiple econobox cars to meet the lifespan of one truck. What’s the biggest polluter? Manufacturing! What kind of vehicle needs manufacturing energy expended on it over and over again? Economy small engine vehicles because they are built to fail at 100k miles. The lightest polluter is something that lasts a long time without needing energy expended to create a new one. You think someone who buys a new Prius every year is good for the environment!? Absolutely not! They pollute double, triple, quadruple as much as they guy who has his 20 year old big block truck.

Agreed. China needs to crack down on pollution associated with lithium mining.

(Not sure why you ignored the article I linked too. Oh wait. Yes I am)

Your right to swing your arms ends when they hit my face. You have the right to pollute until it’s proven that at certain levels it kills me.

So keep your face out of the way of swinging arms and wear a mask when you drive off your want. This is some candy a$$ snowflake business, here. Ever growing regulations, regardless of their positive intent, are out of control and doing way more harm than good. Like most things these days, they are solely political and sold with spin.

Being intolerant to facts and lacking a basic understanding of how rights work doesn’t change the reality of the situation.

Completely agree. You make my point. Consumers already dictated all of these things prior to the government making them law.

Your exactly right because I can buy whatever I want so the fact you have no clue about any of the subjects we are discussing doesn’t change the reality that you don’t have a right to low poullution.
