And the Edelbrock E Forch Super Charger System- eaton style with "their" improvements
Transmission: Circle D Stage 4 Kit, Gm Converter w 1800 Stall & Improved Lock up Clutch. B&M Trans Pan -deep cast alum, Gm Trans Mount
I did this stuff also: ALL new sensors: GM. Starter GM. Mishimoto Radiator-the expensive bad ass one
Water Pump GM, T-stat 180*, GM Hummer Motor Mounts, AC Delco Irridium Plugs
and used the ceramic boot wires from Summit

Hotchkis Sway Bar Kit with end links, Etc
I still have rear Spohn lower control arms, QA1 Panhard bar, TA Perf Rear Cover,
and my Eaton TruTrac Locker to replace the G80 Posi To Do Yet

Since I'm not the original owner, I've been working on lots of little things
since I bought it in July 2019

I'm sure at some point I will upgrade to better Camshaft and get rid of
the DOD lifters (been disabled since a week after I bought it !!)
And do some cylinder head work while it's apart...
This was "supposed" to be a buy and drive deal... but I just can't leave stuff alone !

So, here's my first follow up:
Got it "tuned" and I'm not super impressed.. Although the shop was not
happy with my choice of fuel and wanted me to bring back to them after I run
at least 2 tanks of top tier fuel thru it.. They had to pull a lot of timing

352 hp and 380 torque
Although I know there are a lot of factors in place
Type of dyno, tire inflation, which gear, yada yada....
So I was hoping for more
I kinda figured with 403 stock hp = about 320 on dyno (20% loss)
that I'd be around 400 after the supercharger and headers

Did they suggest a particular brand of fuel?

The reason I ask is because my tuner recommends Mobil and he said to steer clear of Shell for sure.

They told me to use Shell, BP or Phillips 66..
I generally run QT fuel and it's top tier, but they said they see a difference
We don't have chevron or mobile around here Kansas City area

Tuners preference I guess. I used to just buy gas wherever had the best price before having the truck tuned... now I'm Mobil exclusive... lol

wouldnt worry about the dyno#s too much. edelbrocks going to tell you the highest best case scenario hp rating (2wd camaro manual car) meanwhile youre auto awd in 3rd (even 4th isnt a 1:1 gear in the 6l80), higher rear end ratio, 32" tire, converter not locked etc etc etc.

I'm sure theres power to be picked up in the tune but you gotta be willing to take the risk lol, the dod lifters will scare most people away from putting too much sauce in it, but i would just keep the shift points pretty low. I almost wonder if they disabled the VVT also out of fear, but with the stock cam you need to retard it to get any kind of top end

e85 would help but with stock flex injectors and pump wont go much further. cams definitely wake it up but not exactly a bolt on. headers, nice big air filter and inlet

as much power as people are making with the lsa tvs1900 blowers i find it hard to believe the edelbrock cant match those easily i think people just throw them on and expect miracles.

Sounds like you are having fun. It'll be well worth it once everything gets dialed in. I had mine tuned in Wa by 2 different shops when I was there. The first was right after I had the supercharger installed and ready. I had it delivered to a shop that was recommended to me. They did just enough to get it to run decent. I then had it tuned by another shop that "secialized in LS engines. The "LS expert" tune was okay but still something was missing.

I finally had it tuned @ a shop in Louisiana with amazing results. What a difference a good shop and tune make. I will be headed back to the shop when I get back to Louisiana once we get the all clear to return to work. I will then take the truck back there for a small tweak subsequent to an exhaust makeover and switch to electric fans. The work and mods are never done are they?

Any pics or videos? Good luck and continued success with your project.
